What is APACT?

This page is under construction.

APACT is the program that lets you get outdoors, activate a park, without driving 100 miles to accomplish it. The chances are good that there is a park within miles of your house. Why would you operate outdoors?

  • It’s healthy
  • Lower noise floor than at your QTH
  • Present Amateur Radio to the public in a positive light
  • Challenge yourself with building, setting up and operating a portable station
  • It’s healthy. Get out of the shack into the great outdoors.
  • It’s fun! After all, this is a hobby, and it should be fun.
